Sarah and Jim Womer were both born and raised in Virginia – Sarah on the Peninsula in Yorktown and Jim in Woodbridge. Sarah attended Christopher Newport University where she earned a Business Management degree. She attended CNU so she could continue working at her father’s animal hospital and after graduating was Hospital Manager for five years. Jim attended Mary Washington College for his degree in Economics, then The George Washington University for his MBA. After marrying in 2006, Sarah and her Yorkie Samantha moved to Jim and his cat Boot’s Alexandria home and it was time to think about a new career. Since they both grew up with pets and all Sarah knew was caring for people’s pets, together they created Pampered Pet Services. Pampered Pet was Sarah’s full-time venture from the beginning. Jim worked on the business side of things and helped with night and weekend visits as things quickly took off. In January 2008, Jim left his corporate job to take (& pass!) the CPA exam and work with Pampered Pet Services full-time. They enjoy working together to bring you professional, reliable care for your pets including pet sitting, mid-day dog walking, boarding in their home and pet taxi service. They are able to give all medications including oral, topical, injection and sub-q fluids.
